Monday to Friday from 10 am to 5 pm    Saturday and Sundays from 9 am to 6 pm

Balsam fir 

Balsam fir Premium grade, has long been a preferred species for many consumers because of its strong Christmas tree scent. It has dark green needles and excellent form and boasts a symmetrical shape, one that’s often captured in seasonal candles. This evergreen’s two-toned needles are dark green on top, and silver underneath. The balsam fir is likely to retain its needles for four weeks, which is why it might be your best bet if you are looking for the perfect fresh tree.

Apple Season starts end of August depending on the weather

Come and visit the farm and take home delicious fresh apples, the perfect pumpkin, or a beautiful Christmas tree.

Log Cabin is Ottawa's Pick Your Own Apple and Pumpkin farm; we offer different varieties of Apples as the season progresses, starting at the end of August and throughout September for u-pick or pe-picked apples and pumpkin patch in October.

Varieties available during the season and depending on the weather are as follows:

Paula Red, Red Free, Lobo, McIntosh, NovaMac, Spartan, Honeycrisp (last weekend of September), Cortland, Liberty, and Empire.

Families make an annual event to visit the orchard for apple picking, create new memories and take the most beautiful pictures with your favorite people.
